Pongal Celebration- HISG

The Pongal celebration at school under the leadership of our Principal, Dr. Lalli. C.K, was a vibrant cultural extravaganza. Students enthusiastically participated in traditional rituals, showcasing the rich heritage of South India. Colorful decorations adorned the premises, creating a festive atmosphere. The event featured traditional music, dance performances, roleplay highlighting the importance of the harvest season and a delightful preparation of Pongal, a traditional sweet dish in earthen pots over a wood fire. This beautiful culinary heritage was combined with tradition and festive spirit. Followed by rangoli making, pot painting, and traditional games, the school brimmed with festive fervor.
